FRILO Software GmbH has successfully delivered version 2023-2. With the update, the vendor of innovative solutions for structural analysis and design launches a new program that allows the calculation of strut-and-tie models for reinforced concrete structures. Moreover, three software solutions have been fitted with the PLUS user interface. The new interface between SCIA Engineer and FRILO extends the design and calculation options for timber truss nodes.

Thus, among other things, verifications for steel columns, steel beams, crane runways as well as portal frames and steel frames can be performed with determination of the decisive combinations of internal forces. Our Reinforced Concrete product range comes up with 16 unique programs and add ons that can be used to design various reinforced concrete components quickly and reliably. Depending on the task, the decisive internal forces for the design are determined in advance, taking into account the valid superposition rules. All solutions perform a complete reinforced concrete design. Reinforcement drawings supplement the design. Special toolboxes round off the portfolio.
our current foundation & soil analysis portfolio includes 17 programs and add ons that can be used, among other things, to perform ground failure, slope failure and foundation verifications. Calculations of elastically supported beams, basement walls, angular retaining walls and pile foundations can be performed as well as settlement and earth pressure calculations. In addition, there are five programs that allow the design of different types of foundations. The portfolio is completed by the manifold program world of DC software: 40 solutions for foundation engineering and 34 solutions for soil mechanics.
Our current Timber & Roof portfolio includes 15 timber construction programs and add ons that provide you with a wealth of calculation and verification methods for various types of timber beams, timber columns as well as panelled timber walls. In addition, we offer a number of solutions that perform special detailed verifications. FRILO has been a reliable companion since I started my career. A lot has changed in these 25 years. What has remained the same, however, is the simple and clear handling of the various FRILO structural design modules.
